A Time For Now
a time to cheer, a time to cry,
a time to live, a time to die,
a time to sleep, a time to wake,
a time for real, a time for fake,
a time for truth, a time to lie,
a time to laugh, a time to sigh,
a time to stand, a time to fall,
a time for one, a time for all,
a time for love, a time for hate,
a time to run, a time to wait,
a time to stay, a time to flee,
a time for you, a time for me.
a time to live, a time to die,
a time to sleep, a time to wake,
a time for real, a time for fake,
a time for truth, a time to lie,
a time to laugh, a time to sigh,
a time to stand, a time to fall,
a time for one, a time for all,
a time for love, a time for hate,
a time to run, a time to wait,
a time to stay, a time to flee,
a time for you, a time for me.

Time, a nonspatial continuum in which events occur in apparently irreversible succession from the past through the present to the future. Everyone has their times. Time we spend can be broken down to different categories or aspects of daily activities we take part in. This poem A Time For Now goes deep and is trying to show us we still have time something certain people don't have. We should be happy we have time. Our time is free and we can use it any way we want. We can use in a positive or negative way. Time we waste never comes back therefore, we shouldn't waste time. We should use time wisely because there is no turning back.
I noticed this poem has a rhyme scheme. The last word in every sentence rhymes with the consecutive line. Every line shows a positive and a negative (depends which way you see it) or opposites for example:
a time for truth, a time to lie,
a time to laugh, a time to sigh,
a time to stand, a time to fall,
a time for one, a time for all,
a time to laugh, a time to sigh,
a time to stand, a time to fall,
a time for one, a time for all,
The first two sentences of stanza 1 is really deep:
a time to cheer, a time to cry,
a time to live, a time to die,
a time to live, a time to die,
I think this is deep because Cheer and life have a connection and so does cry and die. When were cheer it feels like nothing can go wrong. When we cry it feels as if it is the end of the world and there is no hope. When we cry all we fall in the depths of despair and we are being clouded by despair. We have a feeling in which everything is wrong.
To me this poem is about everything in every ones lives in general. This poem shows us whether we go through good times or bad times time keeps going. It is infinite. Time doesn't care if we are happy or sad. Time will keep going on and on. Time doesn't see us or feel us. Time has no positive or negative side to it.
